Private William Geddis

 

The background of this North Irish Horseman is not known at present.

William Geddis joined the North Irish Horse (enlisted, transferred from another regiment or called-up) on 3 Septembe 1917 (No.2673 – later Corps of Hussars No.71957).

He remained at the regiment's Antrim reserve camp until 22 November 1918 (eleven days after the end of the war), when he embarked for France with a reinforcement draft for the North Irish Horse Cyclist Regiment.

He returned to the UK for demobilisation on 12 February 1919.
